Major Repair, Conversion, and Extension of an Elevator for the 25th Primary School „Dr. Petar Beron“ in Sofia

Construction and installation works for the major repair, conversion, and extension of an elevator at the 25th Primary School „Dr. Petar Beron“ in Sofia: ensuring an accessible environment according to Regulation No. RD-02-20-2 of 26.01.2021, compliance with fire safety requirements according to Regulation No. 1z - 1971/2009, modernization of school organization including classrooms, access control, and signaling, renewal of floorings, podiums, and other interior elements, construction of a new, raised roof to create educational spaces, reorganization of the courtyard area. The three-story school with attic space and partial installation floor (total area 7,390.63 m², property area 5,650 m²) is designed for 700 students, 63 teachers, and 10 staff. Works include raising the attic space to a clear height of 180 cm to create an attic floor, construction of an elevator with a reinforced concrete shaft between axes „3“ and „4“ and axes „M“ and „N“ with entrances at existing window positions, creation of an entrance/exit to the elevator towards the northwest courtyard, and removal of two unused staircases between axes „9“ and „10“ and axes „G“ and „D“, and between axes „8“ and „9“ and axes „E“ and „Zh“. The construction is Category 3. Execution is according to Construction Permit No. 253 of 19.12.2025 and the approved technical project (Architecture, Structural, Geodesy, Water & Sewer, Electrical, Technology, HVAC, Energy Efficiency, Landscaping, Fire Safety).
