Design of Noise Barriers for the Frankfurt Süd Project
Design of noise barriers (SSW) for the Frankfurt Süd and Deutschherrnbrückenzug (DHBZ) project: Development, visualization, stakeholder coordination, and documentation of solutions for approvable, urbanistically compatible, and economical noise barriers. The project includes the replacement new construction of a two-track Main bridge east of the listed Deutschherrnbrücke, the adaptation of adjacent engineering structures (EÜ Eyssenstraße, EÜ Mayfarthstraße, EÜ Hanauer Landstraße) and railway line 3660 between Frankfurt (Main) Süd and Frankfurt (Main) Ost, and the grade-separated integration of a bypass track (line 3659) south of the Main. The measures are based on an acoustic study according to 16. BImSchV for the area from EÜ Darmstädter Landstraße to Frankfurt (Main) Ost station.
