Track construction for the northern connection of the Rail Gate Bremerhaven intermodal facility

Track construction works for the northern connection between Bft Weddewarder Tief of the Bremen Port Railway and the Rail Gate Bremerhaven (RGB) intermodal facility: construction of a feeder track with a curve of min. 190 m; five switches (791 to 795) taper to the feeder track; equipping the feeder track in the level crossing area with track support plates; approx. 250 m long feeder track, of which approx. 150 m with track support plates for terminal and VC-crossing; adaptation of signal box Stf to the new track configuration in the area of switch W801; equipping the intermodal facility's switches with an EOW system upgraded to a shunting signal box; six switches with point heating; technical securing of level crossings. The scope of construction includes track superstructure and civil engineering works, track drainage, construction of level crossings and traversable track areas, cable civil engineering including cable pulling, dismantling and new construction of the fence along the northern property line to bremenports, as well as dismantling, shortening, and reinstallation (if necessary) of the existing track gate in the truck level crossing area.
