Track, Road, and Tram Stop Construction for Tram Projects

Track construction, road construction, and tram stop construction for the Berlin Transport Authority (BVG) tram network: Permanent renewal and repair of existing track systems and new construction measures. The tender comprises two lots: Lot 1 with a contract volume of at least net 250,000.00 EUR and Lot 2 with a contract volume of at least net 1,000,000.00 EUR. Works take place in urban areas with interfaces to third parties. They include track construction with various superstructure forms (bituminous grouted grooved rail frame track, track support plates, sleeper tracks in ballast, ATD tracks, tracks on concrete longitudinal beams, "System Ortec" silent rails, NBS tracks), founded on recycled base courses, hydraulically bound material, or gravel-sand base courses. Track construction material (rails, sleepers, chamber elements, fastening systems, track support plates) is provided by BVG. New tracks must be electrically insulated according to DIN/EN 50122-2, with proof to be provided. Track surface finish consists of asphalt, paving, ballast, greening, or concrete. Additionally, road construction in adjacent areas, driveways, crossings, sidewalks, and stops; landscaping for track greening (grass seeding, laying turf, tree planting and maintenance); cable civil engineering for protective pipes DN63 and DN110 (switch controls, stop furniture, electrical track connections); drainage works (track drainage boxes, connection to sludge traps, subgrade drainage in unfavorable soil conditions); traffic safety measures (creation of traffic sign plan based on provided traffic concept, submission for approval). Stop construction with platform cover plates on angle curbs or stop caps with BCB curbs. High coordination requirements with third parties, fragmented execution, continuous and intensive construction services, potentially in two shifts and on weekends, to meet construction deadlines; further items as per the tender documents.
