GPU server for research in Intelligent Information Systems

Delivery of a GPU server system for research in Intelligent Information Systems. The system must support Linux-based operating systems and software. Servers must be certified (e.g., SUSE Enterprise “YES Certified Program”, Red Hat “Hardware Certification Program”, “Ubuntu Server Certified Hardware”) or provide equivalent manufacturer proof of support for a current, generally available Linux distribution in productive server operation. Any necessary proprietary drivers and software must be runnable under Linux and supplied. Licenses for drivers and software must be provided free of charge for a minimum of 10 years with an unlimited number of users. An operating system does not need to be pre-installed. Installation will take place in the server room of the main building of the Faculty of Media (Bauhausstr. 11, 99423 Weimar). Connectivity to the existing 10G Ethernet switch system (Cisco Nexus 9000 Series) via CAT7-RJ45 ports on patch panels is required. The systems must be installable in a standardized 19-inch rack width. Cooling is via a closed cold aisle; water cooling is not possible.
