Trenching and pipelaying for the extension of the water network in Birzebbuga: Laying of pipes by open cut trenches to meet the increased demand for potable water. This includes the installation of potable water ductile iron mains (150mm and 300mm) excluding the supply of pipes and fittings, the installation of potable water house connections, the construction of manhole chambers on existing and new sewer mains, and the replacement of manhole roof slabs, manhole cover, and frame. Resurfacing works as per TM permit conditions are also included. Ductile iron mains and fittings, polyethylene pipes and fittings, manhole covers, and surface boxes will be supplied by the Water Services Corporation.
