Green and cleanliness maintenance for highways E17, E40 and R4 in the province of East Flanders: includes management and maintenance work on existing grass verges and plantings (mowing verges, hedge trimming, maintenance of planted areas), pruning and felling of roadside trees along service roads and overhead bridges, limited (re)planting works and their maintenance during the warranty period, collection and removal of litter, cleanliness maintenance of road and cycle path surfaces (sweeping surfaces, cleaning traffic islands and raised paved structures), cleaning of street gullies, aquadrains and inspection shafts, emptying waste bins, periodic cleaning of rest area furniture and waste bins, clearing ditches, profiling verges by excavation, repairing damage to green assets (after accidents) and in terms of cleanliness maintenance (illegal dumping), performing ad-hoc works (e.g., after storm damage) if these cannot be reimbursed under other items of the bill of quantities and do not constitute a contractor's burden, as well as the placement, maintenance, and removal of all required site signage and the disposal of all waste generated by the works according to the provisions of this specification.
