Green Area Development for Biodiversity Protection in Opole Lubelskie City Park

Green area development in Opole Lubelskie City Park for biodiversity promotion: Purchase of 124 trees, 803 shrubs, 5,428 groundcover shrubs, 6,411 perennials, 2,335 perennial mixtures, 2,585 rush plants, and 43 climbers; transplanting of 6 trees and 150 shrubs; digging planting holes and filling with fertile soil and hydrogel; ground preparation and planting; watering; tree stabilization in the ground using root ball anchoring; installation of root ball aeration systems (drainage pipe); wrapping tree trunks with jute fabric; mounting vertical plastic tree guards; creating tree basins with bark mulch; mulching beds with shrubs, groundcover shrubs, perennials, and climbers; establishment of lawns and flower meadows; purchase and installation of small architecture such as insect hotels, wooden educational boards, birdhouses, and bat boxes, as well as delivery and installation of platforms and baskets for water bird nests; site cleanup after completion of works; preparation of a post-completion inventory; provision of a qualified archaeologist if necessary; maintenance of new plantings for at least 12 months. The works are carried out in Opole Lubelskie City Park on plot no. 421, a protected area of the palace and park complex in Niezdów, and are co-financed by EU funds for Lubelskie 2021-2027. The park remains accessible during works, with possible temporary restrictions. Equivalent solutions to described standards or products are permitted.
