H2 Hollow-Specimen Test Setup
H2 Hollow-Specimen Test Setup: Device for mechanical testing, such as tensile testing, on hollow specimens internally pressurized with gaseous hydrogen (H2). The setup includes fixtures for the testing machine and the specimen, gas/vacuum management, and pressurization. It facilitates a workflow where test specimens are purged with nitrogen (N2), emptied with a vacuum pump, and then filled with high-pressure H2 before mechanical testing. Intended loading scenarios cover dynamic cyclic loading, quasi-static loading, and holding at a set tensile load. Testing temperatures include low sub-zero temperatures and elevated temperatures. A maximum sum of 112,500 EUR (excluding value-added tax) is available for the procurement.
