High-Performance Road Pavement Inspections for Motorway Networks
Measurement of various road surface characteristics in running sections (right lane) and at motorway interchanges (right lane): Use of a multifunction device with LCMS technology (Laser Crack Measurement System) or equivalent for recording longitudinal evenness (tri-trace), transverse evenness, surface damage, macrotexture, geometry, environmental images, horizontal signage (detection of Acoustic Warning Devices - DAS), and visual condition (damage, pavement homogeneity). Approximately 2,000 km of lanes in running sections and 15 motorway interchanges across various networks are to be surveyed, these figures are indicative for a 12-month period.
