High-Performance Storage System: Metro Cluster for IT Infrastructure
Delivery and services for a high-performance storage system to expand the central IT infrastructure: at least two redundant storage systems including hardware, software, license components, cables, transceivers, optics, and connection components. The systems are to be delivered to the data center locations on the Universitätsmedizin Magdeburg campus, installed into racks, and connected to existing power supply, PDUs, Fibre-Channel, and Ethernet cabling. Includes basic installation and fundamental configuration of the systems with manufacturer-approved, current firmware and software versions. Configuration of storage pools, RAID procedures, volumes/LUNs, and other storage components. Setup of both storage systems as a Metro Cluster with synchronous replication, including cluster, replication, and quorum/witness components for high-availability operation, to ensure data availability in case of a single system failure.
