Timber construction and roof sealing for the new construction of a border control post at Cologne/Bonn Airport: Erection of a two-story building without basement, with the ground floor in solid construction (reinforced concrete skeleton, solid masonry walls) and the upper floor in timber construction (timber skeleton, lightweight walls). The ground slab and the floor slab above the ground floor are made of reinforced concrete, the flat roof slab above the upper floor is made of solid timber. Gross floor area (GFA) approx. 2,800 m², gross volume (GV) approx. 13,290 m³, usable area (UA) approx. 2,230 m². Clear room height on the ground floor at least approx. 2.50 m, on the upper floor at least approx. 2.50 m.
