Hydrographic surveys for ground investigation of offshore wind farms in Zones 3 and 4 of the German EEZ in the North Sea according to FEP, to be conducted in 2027 and 2028: comprehensive multibeam echosounder survey including backscatter data recording; comprehensive side-scan sonar survey including ground truthing via grab samples and video inspections with subsequent classification; linear magnetometer survey; linear sub-bottom profiler survey; local video inspections for verification of objects and suspicious points using remotely operated vehicles (ROV). The area investigations must be carried out within a continuous period.
