Implementation of three submarine interconnections: Kalymnos-Leros, Leros-Lipsi, and Lefkada-Sparti-Skorpios
Submarine interconnections: Implementation of three Medium Voltage (MV) submarine interconnections between Kalymnos-Leros, Leros-Lipsi, and Lefkada-Sparti-Skorpios, through the laying of composite 20 kV XLPE insulated submarine cables. This includes a full or partial marine geophysical seabed study in the specified channels and landing areas, the dismantling and final disposal of old cables, the production and supply of the required submarine cables, and all materials, accessories, and spare parts. Also included are all necessary works and tests for the ready-to-use delivery of the submarine interconnections to DEDDIE. DEDDIE reserves the unilateral right to reduce the main subject of the contract, specifically the non-implementation of the Lefkada-Sparti-Skorpios interconnection sub-project. This right can be exercised up to three (3) months after contract signing.
