Implementation Platform for the Mission Ocean, Seas and Waters – 2nd Phase

Implementation platform for the Mission Ocean, Seas and Waters: Building on the first phase, a one-stop-shop is provided to assist with the overall Mission implementation in the deployment phase. This includes knowledge provision, science-to-policy advice, financial advice, technical assistance, capacity building, support for outreach, scale-up, and dissemination of information, knowledge, and innovations at all levels. The platform provides access to knowledge for all citizens, engages and supports relevant authorities and stakeholders. It supports and integrates communication and dissemination activities for the Mission, including citizen engagement, in cooperation with the Mission lighthouses. Furthermore, existing services such as the Mission charter, the online service portal, and social media are consolidated and supported, as well as the Mission Forum and other events and the European Blue Parks Community. Targeted services for relevant stakeholders and Mission communities to assist with the large-scale deployment of innovative solutions for the restoration of the ocean and waters are also provided.
