Installation of a Biomass Heating System for Aura Leisure Centre, Letterkenny
Installation of a 500 kW Biomass Boiler: including associated mechanical and electrical works for operation and connection to the existing heating system, construction of a flue pipe, installation of storage, loading, and thermal storage systems. Design responsibility is novated to the main contractor, who can propose either an alteration and refurbishment of the existing biomass system (out of use since 2014 due to a flooded basement system) or a new standalone system. Alterations to the existing boiler house for the main building, including the installation of a new pressurisation system, are also included in the scope of works and outlined in the technical specification.
