Refurbishment of the Holzhafenklappbrücke
Refurbishment of the listed Holzhafenklappbrücke (structure no. F24) from 1929/1930: creation of supplementary execution documents, removal and complete refurbishment of the overpass, the reinforced concrete substructures, and the control and power distribution houses. The existing drive will be removed, reconstructed, and reinstalled. The refurbishment includes restoring load-bearing capacity, corrosion protection, closing cracks in masonry and concrete, increasing the resistance of concrete surfaces, eliminating settlement-related defects, and restoring the functionality of the mechanical engineering. The goal is the approximate restoration of the 1929/30 condition, considering current guidelines and monument protection requirements, including complete renewal of corrosion protection and, if necessary, partial replacement of structural parts while preserving the historical appearance. The bridge will be used by pedestrians and cyclists in the future.
