Integrated IT System for Operational Monitoring of Water Infrastructure
Development and implementation of an Integrated Operational Monitoring Information System: The system aims to ensure the company's long-term sustainability regarding personnel availability and mobility, logistical support, and costs. It includes a GIS component for managing and analyzing spatial data of water production infrastructure and water networks, a SCADA component for modernizing and improving the existing system, and an integrated IoT information system and digitalization component. The latter comprises smart metering components with new flow meters and IoT communication modules for unified water network monitoring, a digital platform for Meter Data Collection (MDC), and a digital platform for Meter Data Management (MDM) including storage, analysis, and general management of the flow meter park. The objective is to optimize infrastructure operation and monitoring, detect losses or defects in network topology or execution by installing an efficient metering and monitoring system, implementing an integrated IT system for infrastructure and water loss management, and integrating existing systems as a foundation for a smart water network. The system is a new, modular platform with personalized software applications (web-based, GPRS-GSM data transmission, offline capability with automatic/semi-automatic synchronization, password-secured) and network-type interconnection via a common database at server level. The contract duration is a maximum of 12 months from the service commencement order.
