IT Application for Trichinella Testing, Monitoring, ASF Management, and Hunting Statistics in Thuringia

IT application for the digitalization of processes for 21 veterinary and food surveillance offices in 22 districts and independent cities in Thuringia: Provision, operation (including hosting), and support of an application for digital recording of application data and receipt of official decisions in accordance with the Online Access Act (OZG) for citizens. This includes the testing of up to 30,000 wild boar per year for Trichinella spp., monitoring of hunted wild animals for animal disease pathogens with an estimated 5,000 to 30,000 samples per year, an event-driven activatable management module for African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreaks (also for exercises), and the recording and reporting of hunting bags for all huntable animal species. An interface to the hunting statistics application of Condition – Integrierte Softwarelösungen GmbH is to be provided. The application is usable by approximately 13,000 hunters and approximately 100 administrative staff, with licensing and usage terms needing to permit use by state, municipal, and external personnel.
