Church renovation for Vähäkyrö Church: structural changes, renovation of structures, renewal of building services, adaptation of interiors for more versatile use, improvement of accessibility and safety. Sub-floor structures will be renewed, hazardous materials removed, and facade plastering renewed/repaired. The entire building services will be renewed, and the heating system changed from direct electric heating to district heating. Fire and rescue safety will be improved by constructing a new escape route and a lifting point. The church tower will be equipped with a dry sprinkler system. The works are awarded as a divided contract, consisting of a main construction contract and subordinated sub-contracts for HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing), electrical, AV (audio/video), interior painting and plastering, and facade painting and plastering. The church was built in 1803 and is a protected building (sr-1), including the building, courtyard area, fixed interior furnishings, associated paintings, and artworks.
