OCT Device System: high-resolution imaging of eye structures for precise examination, treatment planning, and monitoring of eye diseases; production of highly accurate cross-sectional and layered images of eye structures from the retina to the anterior segments; used for diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment planning for retinal diseases, glaucoma, diabetes-related eye diseases, and cataracts. The system includes two device levels: a high-end OCT device for demanding specialized medical care and research of rare or complex eye diseases, and basic OCT devices for daily diagnosis and monitoring of common eye diseases. All devices and software must form a unified system enabling the viewing, analysis, and sharing of images across the eye care operations of the wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland.
