Concession for Operation, Extension, and Renovation of the "Mégacité" Congress and Exhibition Center

Operation of the "Mégacité" congress and exhibition center on 35,000 m²: The center includes an amphitheater with 986 seats, four exhibition halls (3,800 m², 2,400 m², 1,800 m², 1,135 m²), a multi-purpose reception area of 600 m², seven workshop rooms for 30 to 300 people, a bar, kitchens, and outdoor areas. A 2006 extension comprises an additional amphitheater with 350 seats, two workshop rooms (70 and 90 seats), a press room, and office space for organizers. The concessionaire is responsible for the construction of a modular hall of 5,000 to 8,000 m² for fairs, exhibitions, and congresses, including a catering office, as well as the renovation of existing spaces. Project costs are estimated between 18 and 23.5 M€ (incl. VAT). The construction of this modular hall requires the demolition and redevelopment of parts of the infrastructure, which will be handled by Amiens Métropole after 2032. Optionally, the operation of the shared spaces at Quai de l’innovation (approx. 1,900 m²) is included, featuring meeting rooms, tiered conference rooms for 50 to 300 people, as well as office, reception, coworking, and video-conference areas.
