Laboratory Analysis Services for Sludge and Digestate Samples 2026–2027

Laboratory analysis services for pig and cattle sludge, biogas plant digestates, and other nutrient recycling materials: Laboratory analyses of client-provided samples and electronic delivery of analysis results. The analysis services must cover the nutrient and quality analyses defined in the tender, including total nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium, dry matter, pH, and other analyses specified in the tender documents. Samples are to be delivered to the laboratory in phases during the contract period. Samples may consist of pig and cattle sludge, their dry fractions, biogas plant digestates, digestate liquid and dry fractions, dry manures (e.g., poultry, horse, and bedding manure), other organic nutrient recycling materials, and mixtures of the aforementioned materials. Samples can be delivered frozen or via cold transport. The estimated total number of samples to be analyzed during the contract period is approximately 400–600 samples; this quantity is an estimate and does not constitute a purchase obligation for the client. The client is not committed to a specific minimum or maximum number of samples or analyses and reserves the right to adjust analysis quantities, sample delivery schedules, and order additional analyses related to the specified material groups during the contract period, provided that the general nature or scope of the procurement does not change significantly. The service provider is required to have quality-assured analysis methods, reliable reporting, and the ability to receive, store, and analyze samples according to agreed delivery and turnaround times.
