LDAR Measurement Services

LDAR measurement services for the detection, quantification, documentation, and reporting of methane emissions in the pipeline network and at selected stations of Gasunie Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1787. This includes source-level measurements on gas-carrying components in compressor stations, as well as measurement and control stations, quantification of detected methane emissions, identification and documentation of recognized leaks, and the creation of auditable reports. Measurements are conducted according to LDAR Type 2, considering relevant technical regulations and standards, including EN 15446, EPA Method 21, EPA Protocol for Equipment Leak Emission Estimates, and relevant DVGW regulations. Additionally, site-specific measurements for plausibility checks and reconciliation of source and site emissions, as well as other demand-driven special measurements, can be requested. Collected measurement data must be recorded in a traceable, auditable, and digital manner, provided to the client, and prepared for regulatory reporting. Repair services for detected leaks and services related to blowing down and flaring are not included. Services are to be provided at locations specified in the tender documents and potentially other locations determined by the client.
