Delivery, Installation, and Commissioning of Technologies for a New High-Voltage Head Station and Emergency Power Supply for Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg, Campus Sint-Jan
Delivery, Installation, and Commissioning of Technologies for a New High-Voltage Head Station and Emergency Power Supply for Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg, Campus Sint-Jan: High-voltage installations (switchgear, protection, measurement and protection relays), low-voltage installations, emergency power supply via generators (including necessary couplings/switching), control/automation and data/communication facilities, lighting, high-voltage cabling to existing cabins and connections to existing infrastructure, the integration of existing masterpacts into the control system of the new head station, testing, commissioning, training of operating personnel, documentation and as-built files, initial maintenance and service obligations, and night work are delivered, installed, and commissioned. The electrical connection capacity of Campus Sint-Jan is being expanded due to an extension of approximately 60,000 m² and an energy transition. Connection will be via two feeders, each 10 MVA, to the Langerlo (Genk) substation. Four emergency generators, each 2.5 MVA, ensure continuity in case of feeder failure or maintenance. The existing high-voltage loop will be rerouted to the new head station. A maintenance and service contract for the lifetime of the installation, including at least one annual functional test of the head station's control systems, will also be concluded. Detailed technical descriptions are available in the tender documents.
