Supply and Deployment of Server Infrastructure for the SLIM Project
Supply, installation, and commissioning of server infrastructure for the SLIM project in Zambia: two server environments, including installation, configuration, baseline security settings, system testing, technical training, and final commissioning. The first environment is a centralized GIS server system for the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) with two physical servers (one performance server, one GIS server hosting virtual machines for ArcGIS Enterprise components and a PostgreSQL/PostGIS enterprise database), a disk array for backups and file storage, and a firewall. The second environment is an operational open-source GIS server system for the Forestry Department (FD) with one physical server (hosting two virtual machines for database and web application services), a disk array, a UPS, a firewall, and a new rack cabinet.
