The landfill is located in the Mavrorachi area, Lachanas Municipal Unit, Lagkadas Municipality, in the northern part of Thessaloniki P.E. The total area of the landfill is 752.42 stremmata, of which 377 stremmata are active area (cells A, B, C, and D).
