Delivery of Activated Coke for Flue Gas Cleaning
Delivery of activated coke for the separation of pollutants during waste incineration, starting from 01.11.2026, approximately 50 t/month. Product data: Particle size: mm 315 μm: wt.-% ≤ 5; Sulfuric acid: wt.-% 4-6; Ignition number (BZ): ≤ 2. The activated coke must separate mercury and/or mercury compounds such that the values of Annex 1 to the 17th BImSchV are significantly undercut (maximum 20% of the TMW or HMW limit value). The particle size must allow conveyance in the MVA Weisweiler facilities and injection into the evaporative cooler. Suitability for flue gas cleaning in the MVA Weisweiler is required. Proof of proper injection into at least two waste incineration plants with comparable technology between 2022 and 2026, achieving the specified separation requirements, is necessary. The use of regenerated and recycled activated carbon is intended. The estimated annual delivery quantity is 600 t (+/-50 t), with a maximum annual quantity set at 900 t/a.
