Supply of Gas/Chemical Detectors
Supply of portable Gas/Chemical Detectors: The detectors are based on Ion Mobilization Spectrometry (IMS) technology and provide warnings for dangerous gases or vapors at concentrations hazardous to human health. They are intended for use in field conditions with or without full CBRN IPE (Individual Protective Ensemble) in contaminated or non-contaminated environments and are delivered in a rugged transport case. The procurement includes 316 pieces of Gas/Chemical Detectors as base quantity, plus 450 pieces as options for the years 2026 to 2030. Options also include spare parts, equipment, consumables, and maintenance tools. The supplier must offer factory-level maintenance. This is a joint procurement for the Finnish Defence Forces, Border Guard, Police, and National Emergency Supply Agency, with separate contracts to be signed with four contract entities. The procurement will not be divided among different tenderers. Two tender samples are required to be submitted with the quotation during the request for quotation phase.
