The subject of the tender is the creation of a feasibility study (Module 1 of the Federal Funding for Efficient Heating Networks - BEW) as well as in-depth planning services for an efficient heating network in the second development phase of the Prinz-Leopold-Kaserne innovation district in Regensburg. The measure includes the conceptual design of a greenhouse gas-neutral district heating network with an estimated route length of approx. 2.0 km for the supply of approx. 310 residential units and a commercial area. The energy system is based on a combination of geothermal energy (approx. 240 geothermal probes), wastewater heat, air-to-water heat pumps, a combined heat and power plant (CHP) and photovoltaic systems. The planning services include object planning for engineering structures and buildings as well as specialist planning for structural engineering, technical equipment and electrical planning, with engineering services for heat supply dominating.
