Delivery of stackable chairs for the City of Essen

Delivery of stackable chairs for the City of Essen under a framework agreement: Stated quantities are for calculation purposes and represent approximate expected annual call-off volumes, but are not binding. Delivery is within six weeks after call-off, freight and packaging free, and fully assembled to the point of use. Suppliers must be German-speaking. Deliveries are to be made Monday to Thursday from 7:00 to 15:00 and Friday from 7:00 to 12:00. A repurchase guarantee of at least 10 years from the purchase date and a warranty period of at least 2 years from the delivery date for material and manufacturing defects on chairs and chair trolleys must be provided. The contractor must be reachable Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 15:00. The chair manufacturer must be DIN EN ISO 9001 certified. Only beech wood from sustainable forestry (PEFC system) is permitted. Sampling is required and includes: 1 stackable chair with wooden shell (natural or stained, upholstered seat and back, four-leg frame black or silver, stacking bar, row connector), 1 plastic shell chair (black frame, freely selectable shell color, stacking bar, row connector), 1 fully upholstered chair (with armrests, cantilever frame, freely selectable frame and upholstery color). Additionally, hand samples of non-sampled frame colors, possible stain tones, and fabric samples must be included. Sample delivery is from 17.09.2026 to 23.09.2026, 8:30-15:00, to Stadt Essen, Rathaus, Porscheplatz 1, 45127 Essen. Further details are available in the tender documents.
