Ventilation Installation for the Bochum City Music School
Ventilation installation: Complete renewal of ventilation systems for use as a "House of Music". A central air handling unit supplies event and ancillary rooms with approx. 6,000 m³/h. The instrument storage receives a separate air handling unit with approx. 3,000 m³/h and a high recirculation rate. Both units are installed in the basement and connected via a common outdoor air tower in the courtyard and a common exhaust air duct in the underground garage. The WC cores of the Humboldstraße and Marienplatz building sections receive their own air handling units with approx. 1,200 m³/h and approx. 2,500 m³/h respectively; outdoor and exhaust air is routed via weather protection grilles in the roof area. The scope of services includes the production of air handling units, air duct networks, air outlets, silencers, volume flow controllers, as well as fire protection and hygiene measures.
