Airborne Maritime Pollution Surveillance

Airborne Maritime Pollution Surveillance: Limiting and mitigating pollution in Danish waters (territorial sea and exclusive economic zone) through airborne surveillance and enforcement of the Danish Marine Environment Protection Act. Overflying areas two times weekly, day and night, and under all common weather conditions. Monitoring the water surface for oil spills using sensor equipment provided by the supplier. Collection of evidence (photos, documentation, air-drop of oil spill sampling buoys). Provision of flight system, sensor equipment, air crew, and system operators. Extensive practical training for air crew and system operators required. Availability for up to three multinational operations per year. further items as per the tender documents.
