Masonry work for energy-efficient refurbishment of Fritz-Schumacher-School
Masonry work for the energy-efficient refurbishment of classroom-type buildings 02, 03, 04, 05, and 08 at the Fritz-Schumacher-School in Hamburg: plinth insulation including earthworks (950 m), internal insulation of basement ceilings (810 m²), breakthroughs in masonry, minor reinforced concrete work (22.7 m³), and internal plastering work (600 m²). The refurbishment aims for the Efficiency House 4 EE (KfW 40) standard and includes a new building envelope in prefabricated timber construction, green roofs with PV systems, conversion of heating supply to heat pumps, renewal of heating surfaces, conversion of cloakrooms into differentiation areas, reorganization of sanitary facilities, installation of barrier-free WCs and tea kitchens, as well as renewal of floor and ceiling coverings and electrical systems. Hazardous material remediation, particularly the removal of asbestos-containing wall and ceiling plaster, is planned before the conversion.
