Project management for partial reconstruction and renovation of the Max Planck Institute for Biophysics

Project management: Renovation and conversion of laboratory areas into large-scale laboratories with evaluation workstations across multiple floors, modernization of HVAC and building technology (from 2003), rectification of defects (e.g., fire dampers), conversion of HPCL server areas into laboratory areas, conversion of laboratory areas into cleanroom areas, conversion of basement areas for expansion of the electron microscopy special area, renewal of HVAC systems, renovation of office areas (surfaces, fiber optic cabling embedded in screed). Construction will be executed during ongoing operation in 4 phases. The project will be implemented using the LEAN management methodology (VDI 2553). Total construction costs (cost groups 200 to 700) are approximately 17,950,000 € net.
