Rental of a QTOF Mass Spectrometer

Rental of a Quadrupole-Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer (QTOF-MS): maximum term 60 months (5 years) until December 2031. The rental agreement starts upon contract award, initially until December 31, 2027, and extends annually unless terminated by the client. The device is for the analysis of Perfluorinated Alkyl Substances (PFAS) according to DIN EN 17892:2024-08 and Trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) according to DIN 38407-53:2025-10, as well as other priority substances from the EU Water Framework Directive and new environmental pollutants (e.g., pesticides, industrial chemicals, pharmaceuticals) in complex and saline sample matrices. The goal is to obtain quantifiable results at a concentration level of 30% of the European Environmental Quality Standards (EQS) for inland waters in surface and groundwater matrices via direct injection of high sample volumes without pre-enrichment. The device must be suitable for quantifying ultra-trace concentrations in complex matrices and for identifying unknown substances via high-resolution non-target and suspect-target screening; further details as per the tender documents.
