Employee Counseling and Health Management for the City Administration of Koblenz

Employee counseling and health management: Counseling for conflict identification, stress situations (workplace, personal), psychological and psychosomatic problems, substance abuse and addiction, crisis management after extreme experiences (e.g., death, suicide, accident, violent assaults in the professional environment), and in emergency situations involving danger to life and limb. This includes counseling for managers on dealing with employees showing health issues, and a specialist doctor referral and appointment service. The service also includes active participation in corporate health management for 4 hours per calendar year, with additional support billed separately at an hourly rate. Annual reports are to be submitted by January 2nd, detailing the scope and reasons for counseling, anonymized content, specification of health problems, a professional assessment, and recommendations for behavioral and environmental strategies. These reports are to be explained in a 2-hour review meeting with department management. Furthermore, support is provided for publicizing external employee counseling and public relations, including collaboration on information brochures, accompanying info stands and presentations, and specialist articles for publications. Telephone support for urgent appointments and referrals to specialists and psychological psychotherapists is available upon request. Drug checks via urine and breath alcohol control are possible during opening hours and are commissioned and billed separately per individual case. Support for rehab applications in a psychosomatic context is possible upon request or within an existing counseling process, with billing directly to the applicant. Cooperation with the client and external specialist agencies (therapy practices, clinics, specialist services, rehab facilities) is required for case counseling. Existing cooperations with therapy practices, clinics, specialist services, and rehab facilities must be proven, further items as per the tender documents.
