Modernization of public lighting in Szerencs: Dismantling of 1,842 existing luminaires and replacement of 1,735 luminaires with LED lighting. The existing lighting network primarily consists of overhead lines on shared poles with low-voltage public electricity distribution networks, and partly of underground cables. The investor is responsible for the disposal of dismantled luminaires, including hazardous waste; dismantled equipment cannot be reused. Affected roads include national roads passing through Szerencs, roads leading out of the city, collector roads, and urban side roads. For main traffic routes (M3 classification), new LED luminaires with 57W in the city center and on bypass sections, and 79W in conflict zones, will be installed on existing supports. For collector roads (M4 classification), 46W LED luminaires will be installed. For medium roads (M5 classification), 32W LED luminaires will be installed. For side roads (M6 classification), 20W LED luminaires will be installed. In areas requiring stronger illumination, such as pedestrian crossings and roundabouts, luminaires with directional optics (46W, 79W) will be used. For decorative candelabras (e.g., Bekecsi street and similar city-wide), light source and diffuser replacement is required, without luminaire replacement, using new 20W and 32W light sources depending on height; these candelabras must be painted. An optional HDMR OS-Zhaga M2M NB-IoT outdoor wireless controller for lighting optimization is foreseen. Extensions and densifications include 4 new luminaires in the Szerencs-Ond district (Hunyadi u. and Ady Endre u. intersection), new luminaires on every existing pole along the bike path on Ondi road (between Veres Péter and Szilas A. Pál u. junctions), and densifications in residential areas and side streets. New lamp arms will be installed next to designated playgrounds. Connections for festive lighting must be provided at designated locations. Dimmable luminaires will be installed in suburban and rural residential areas to reduce power during specified night intervals. The total power of public lighting is expected to reduce from 135 kW to 66 kW (48% of current state) or, with dimming, to 43-47 kW (31-35% of current state). Implementation will occur in phases.
