Modernization of the 22 kV and 110 kV System

Modernization of the 22 kV and 110 kV System: Adjustment of the connection to the distribution system according to the requirements of ČEZ Distribuce, a.s. This includes the replacement of the existing oil transformer T4 (50 MVA, 110/22 kV) with a new, more powerful transformer of 63 MVA; modifications to the 110 kV lines, including the replacement of inductive combined measuring transformers, the installation of new distance protections and new switchboards for billing and balance metering; the reconstruction in the 22 kV switchgear, including the modification of transformer outputs in the cells, the installation of new electrical protections and network quality analyzers, and the strengthening of the current load of the existing transformer T4; and the modification of the control and regulation system, including the connection of new components to the existing control system, visualization, and the addition of automatic tap switching for transformers for continuous voltage regulation. The implementation will be carried out using the Design & Build method as part of the decarbonization project of the Karviná heating plant.
