New Construction IKC De Wegwijzer

New construction of an Integrated Children's Center (IKC) De Wegwijzer: Replacement new building on the same site after demolition of the existing school, site delivery ready for construction. The building is designed for approximately 260 students and has a gross floor area (GFA) of approximately 2,881 m² over two floors, including a gymnasium and childcare facility. The construction includes: Foundation with in-situ formed (bored) piles and a concrete beam grid; Floor slabs with insulated hollow core slabs on the ground floor and hollow core slabs with integrated steel beams on the 1st floor; Supporting structure with concrete columns and integrated steel beams on the ground floor, and wooden columns with wooden edge beams and integrated steel beams on the 1st floor. The roof of the school and childcare facility consists of EPDM roofing, insulation, and lignatur roof elements. The gymnasium roof includes EPDM roofing, insulation, and a laminated timber beam layer with roof boarding. The exterior walls of the school and childcare facility are made of insulated wood.
