Apron Safety Reconfiguration at Airport
Reconfiguration of three nose-in aircraft stands adjacent to the terminal building: improvement of apron safety, operational efficiency, and passenger routing; includes redesign of the existing stand layout to provide three independent Code C stands, construction of new rigid pavement for aircraft stands, flexible pavement for taxi lanes and fillets, and localized rehabilitation and overlay works for existing apron areas; provision of drainage infrastructure, including dedicated de-icing areas with collection and treatment systems; integration of airfield ground lighting (AGL), markings, and associated electrical and ducting infrastructure; improvement of passenger interfaces through covered walkways and associated infrastructure. The works will be delivered within a live operational airport environment and are subject to airport security requirements, including Garda vetting, BSAT training, security clearance processes, and compliance with all applicable airport access permit requirements.
