Redesign of Green and Open Spaces, and Path Construction Works in Alfred-Delp-Quartier

Path construction works and redesign of green and open spaces: Earthworks include removal and temporary storage of 432 m³ topsoil and vegetation cover, soil excavation and temporary storage or re-installation of 1,000 m³ as foundation excavation including separation by soil groups, layered soil improvement of 8,600 m² with mixed binder 30/70 or 50/50, subgrade leveling for 11,560 m² paved areas and 7,350 m² vegetation areas including deep loosening. Foundation and substructure involve delivery and installation of 350 m³ GW soil as backfill material, 180 m drainage pipes, and 7 inspection shafts. Superstructure and wearing courses comprise frost protection layer for paths (3,055 m³) and small areas (315 m³), gravel base layer for paths (1,366 m³) and small areas (124 m³), 10 cm thick asphalt base course including surface treatment with granite chippings (5,620 m²), 1,290 m² water-bound surfacing, 370 m² vegetation base course gravel lawn for small areas, 2,940 linear meters gravel vegetation base course for verges (50 cm wide), 120 m² bound granite paving in small areas, 202.5 m granite high/low kerbs including radius stones, 140 linear meters single and multi-row granite stones, 258 linear meters path edging made of mill-finished steel. Building constructions include production of reinforced concrete foundations and installation of 325 linear meters of retaining walls made of weather-resistant structural steel (client-provided), production of 165 linear meters of granite block weirs (height 70 cm x width 50-100 cm), 10 staircases with 3 risers, granite steps, 2.0 m wide including foundations. Technical installations include 170 m rainwater pipes DN 100-200 in short lengths, height adjustment of 44 shafts, 1 drinking fountain, approx. 2,000 m cable trenches including installation of cable protection pipes (client-provided), approx. 70 luminaire foundations. Outdoor installations include 155 linear meters granite seating blocks, freestanding and as seating steps in embankments (width 50-70 cm x height 55 cm). Vegetation areas include sieving of 3,435 m³ topsoil/vegetation cover at two locations, loading, conveying, and re-installation of 2,720 m³ topsoil from stored piles in Alfred-Delp-Quartier or Donauwörth city center, delivery and installation of 2,200 m² erosion control mats in embankments and retention swales. Other measures for outdoor and open spaces include site setup, traffic safety as required, double measurement, demolition and material disposal including clearing of 65 deciduous trees (trunk diameters 11-60 cm), and hourly work as required.
