Optimization of technical building equipment for schools in Cologne

Analysis and optimization of technical building equipment (TGA) in 10 schools in Cologne: annual analysis for energy saving potentials, inventory of TGA systems (KG 410, 420, 430, 480) with on-site inspections and photo documentation, visual and functional inspection of TGA systems based on trend data, verification of compliance with Cologne's energy guidelines, analysis and optimization of control loops, independent implementation of short-term, non-investive measures (e.g., adjustment of usage times and setpoints) after approval, assessment of retrofitting options for LoRaWAN temperature sensors in heating circuits without reference room temperature sensors. All measures are evaluated per property regarding energy saving potential, amortization period, and priority, documented in a report, and presented. Offers for investive measures are independently obtained and checked factually, arithmetically, and economically. The success of implemented measures is evaluated and documented per property in an annual final report. Project progress reports are to be provided at least every two months in in-person meetings.
