Chartering of additional ARK sealift capacity
Chartering of additional sealift capacity: Framework contract for the acquisition of vessels, primarily RORO vessels, but also other vessel types such as ROPAX, ferries, MPP, PCTC, CONT, heavy lift vessels, supply vessels, and tankers. Chartering primarily occurs as time or voyage charter, secondarily as trip time charter, contract of affreightment, or bareboat/demise charter. The supplier acts as the sole contracting party, responsible for all services, including vessel chartering, and must be able to source worldwide sealift options. Typical time charter durations range from 1 week to 7 months, with the possibility of longer periods. The operational area is primarily continental but can be extended worldwide. Mandatory requirements include providing RORO and other vessel types via time and voyage charter, 24/7/365 accessibility, vessels flagged in NATO and EU countries, at least two employees with operational responsibility for charter agreements, an office in a NATO country on the European Continent, and key employees eligible for NATO security clearance. Desired features include regular market reports and experience in military maritime transport in risk areas.
