Orthopaedic Technical Services for Region Sörmland and Region Västmanland

Orthopaedic technical services: Responsibility for and operation of orthopaedic technical activities, including measurement, manufacturing, testing, adaptation, model production, repair, maintenance, and service of orthopaedic technical aids. Consultancy services and medical, technical, and administrative follow-up of provided aids in team activities such as gait training, rehabilitation teams, diabetes teams, wound care teams, and foot teams. For contract area 1 (Orthopaedic Technical Department), the operation of an orthopaedic technical department (OTA) is required in the hospitals Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna, Nyköpings Lasarett in Nyköping, Kullbergska Sjukhuset in Katrineholm (Region Sörmland), and Västmanlands Sjukhus in Västerås (Region Västmanland). Product groups for contract area 1 include: extremity prostheses (lower and upper), extremity orthoses (lower and upper), spinal orthoses, orthopaedic shoes and insoles including shoe adaptations, breast prostheses. For contract area 2 (Moulded Seats), orthopaedic technical services in the field of moulded seats and other related products according to the price list are to be provided. Bids must be submitted for at least one of the contract areas. One (1) supplier will be contracted for contract area 1 and one (1) supplier for contract area 2. A supplier may be awarded both contract areas. Contracts will be signed with the same supplier(s) for both regions. The current contract (IN-IN19-0104) expires on 2027-04-30.
