Photovoltaic Systems and Battery Storage for Znojmo Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant
Construction of photovoltaic power plants and battery storage systems at two facilities of the contracting authority. For the Znojmo Water Treatment Plant: a photovoltaic system with a total permitted output of 332.64 kW, comprising 616 photovoltaic panels of 540 Wp each and 3 inverters of 100 kW each. Additionally, a battery storage system with a capacity of 1,200 kWh and an installed power of 360 kW. For the Znojmo Wastewater Treatment Plant: a photovoltaic system with a total permitted output of 294.26 kW, comprising 474 photovoltaic panels (141 units of 540 Wp and 333 units of 655 Wp) and 17 inverters with outputs of 10, 15, and 20 kW. Additionally, a battery storage system with a capacity of 2,400 kWh and an installed power of 360 kW. The photovoltaic power plants will generate electricity for self-consumption and for storage in batteries. Any surplus electricity generated will be fed into the distribution grid. This project is financed by an EU-funded project and the call ModF–RES+ No. 4/2025, Program 2. New Renewable Energy Sources in Energy (RES+).
