Pilot Programme for Upland Farming Monitoring and Demonstration: a one-year programme for assessing and demonstrating good practices in upland farms, with an option for a further 2-year extension. The programme is supported by public funding from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) and the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), and includes close liaison with agricultural stakeholders in Northern Ireland to develop sustainable upland farming systems through monitoring, demonstration, and knowledge transfer.
