Design, construction, and operation of a mechanical-biological treatment plant with anaerobic digestion and energy recovery and a transfer station in Galați: The mechanical-biological treatment plant in Galați includes a mechanical stage with a capacity of 50,000 t/year and a semi-dry anaerobic digestion plant with a capacity of 89,000 t/year. The transfer station in Galați has a capacity of 23,000 t/year. The future operator must make investments, including a cogeneration plant for electricity production from gas, a composting and digestate stabilization plant for agricultural compost and residual waste digestate, investments for RDF preparation, and for the pre-treatment of separately collected bio-waste. The contract is divided into a design phase (6 months) for the technical project and all necessary permit documentation, an execution phase (32 months) for construction works, supply and installation of machinery and technological equipment, testing, commissioning, and defect rectification during a 36-month warranty period, and an operation phase (10 years) for the administration and operation of both facilities. The estimated total value of the delegation contract is 948,361,921.30 Lei excluding VAT for 158 months, of which 12,860,634.51 Lei excluding VAT for design, 292,578,170.31 Lei excluding VAT for execution, and 642,923,116.48 Lei excluding VAT for 10 years of operation, representing an average annual value of 64,292,311.65 Lei excluding VAT.
