Design and construction of the Deneia – Akakiou - Astromeriti Motorway: 4 traffic lanes, total length approx. 18 km. The motorway connects the Nicosia-Kokkinotrimithia motorway with the Astromeriti-Evrychou motorway and passes south of the villages Akakiou, Peristerona, and Astromeriti. The typical cross-section includes 4 traffic lanes, each 3.5 m wide, with a central median and asphalt shoulders on both sides, 3.0 m wide. Construction works include 4 grade-separated interchanges, completion of one existing grade-separated interchange, earthworks, asphalt works, stormwater drainage works including construction of a closed road surface stormwater drainage system, modifications to existing utilities, installation of new utilities, road lighting, viaducts, overpasses and underpasses, rectangular culverts, and retaining walls.
