Adaptation and update of PP-CSP and PP-CSPL protection profiles: Merging both protection profiles following a multi-assurance approach; modular design of the new protection profile to serve various use cases and enable broad application; restriction of the PP core to minimal necessary CSP(L) functionality; outsourcing of specific functionalities into modules; development of dedicated PP configurations for application scenarios; creation of a concept draft with the contracting authority; description of the detailed architecture; creation of the protection profile; the goal is an updated, modularized protection profile and at least one associated PP configuration for cash registers and eID.
